Laura Glenn O'Carroll joined the Chicago Council on Global Affairs in 2017 as a research associate with the Global Food and Agriculture Program. She supports the development of reports on agricultural development, food security, nutrition, and female empowerment as well as managing digital communications for the team. Prior to joining the Council, O'Carroll worked as a project specialist at Feeding America, the nation's largest anti-hunger not-for-profit, where she managed projects and grants related to nutrition, food security, and food safety. O'Carroll holds a MA in food systems from New York University.
