General Membership

As a member of the Council, you will deepen your understanding of US foreign policy, stay ahead of world news, be part of a community that cares about global affairs, and network to make professional and personal connections.

Thank you for your interest in supporting the Council by becoming a member. The Council provides nonpartisan, fact-based information on global affairs and offers you opportunities to hear from and question world leaders, foreign policy influencers, and other international experts. We also connect you with other Chicagoans interested in exploring global issues and why they matter.

Become a Member

Membership donations provide critical financial support that enables the Council to fulfill its mission. Contributions are tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law and can be made as one-time annual gifts or in monthly or quarterly installments.

Council members are a group of curious people who are interested in discussing the ideas that shape our lives both big and small.

Young Professionals Network

The Chicago Council on Global Affairs engages not only the nation’s and the world’s top leaders but also Chicago’s next generation of leaders. Nearly 1,500 smart, sophisticated Council members under the age of 45 are part of the Council's YP Network.
