About This Event

The Council is committed to providing a community of innovation while ensuring Chicago remains a thriving global city. To help navigate the time of pivotal change and unprecedented challenges that Chicago’s business leaders are facing, the Council is launching a new series of CEO-led, peer-to-peer conversations around common interests and emerging trends in the business community. These CEO-only meetings will be off-the-record, intentionally intimate, and in-person (as long as we’re able to convene safely).

Our first discussion and dinner will take place on December 2 and will be led by John Ettelson, President and CEO of William Blair, and Sanjay Rishi, Americas CEO of Work Dynamics at JLL, covering the post-COVID workplace.

John R. Ettelson became president of William Blair in 2003 and has been CEO since 2004. He was named chair of the board of directors for the Chicago Council on Global Affairs in 2021. He is a respected civic leader and, in 2019, received the prestigious Illinois Holocaust Museum Humanitarian Award for his ongoing commitment to the community through both philanthropy and volunteerism.
