Craig Merriman

Craig Merriman joined the Chicago Council on Global Affairs in 2022 as human resources officer. In this role, he is responsible for recruitment support, coordinating training and onboarding programs, the administration of employee benefits, payroll processing, and HR policies and procedures in support of the organization and its employees. He also has an active role in the human resources activities that support the Council’s diversity, inclusion, and equity strategy. Prior to joining the Council, Merriman spent nine years at the Field Museum as a human resources generalist and holds a BFA in Musical Theatre from Millikin University.
