YP Town Square: Your Stories and the World

Alesha Black, Managing Director, Global Food and Agriculture Program, Chicago Council on Global Affairs; Ivo Daalder, President, Chicago Council on Global Affairs; Mignon Senuta, Director, Corporate Relations, Chicago Council on Global Affairs. Moderated by Roger Thurow.

With a new year ahead, the Council is delighted to kick off 2019 with our annual members-only YP Town Square. The prospect of another year of global headlines and news events that will continue to shape our world and our outlook gives us a moment to celebrate this network of globally-minded young professionals at the Council. We invite you to gather for an evening of meaningful engagement with your peers and Council leadership.

This year’s format will include an array of personal and unique stories by Council experts, told completely off-the-record. The microphone will then turn to you—our Young Professionals—for your stories. Overcome those stage jitters and talk about what global issue or event you feel most connected to, share a recent enriching travel experience, or discuss how you would make this city thrive! Everyone has a story to tell; they shape our narratives and help us make sense of the world, and we want to hear yours!
