Reimagining Education—Not by Chance, But by Design

Kiran Bir Sethi, Founder and Director, The Riverside School, Design for Change, and aProCh. Introduced by Patricia Blunt Koldyke.

Living by Gandhi’s famous words, “be the change you wish to see in the world,” Kiran Bir Sethi, this year’s Patricia Blunt Koldyke Fellow, has dedicated her life to finding innovative solutions to challenges in India’s schools, the education system, and education policies. India is the world’s second most populous country, and projected to be the first by 2030. One third of that population is under 14 years of age and in danger of not fully integrating into a modern India. Join The Chicago Council and Kiran Bir Sethi for a discussion of redesigning communities, making cities safer for children, and raising curious, competent, future citizens.
