Samina Baig is the youngest Pakistani woman ever to climb all seven highest peaks around the world, including Mt. Everest. Hailing from a small village in northern Pakistan, Baig and her brother Mirza, also a mountaineer, represent a new generation of young Pakistanis who seek to challenge common misconceptions of their country. Adventure diplomats, entrepreneurs, and agents for social change are leading by example to encourage gender equality, increase opportunities, and ultimately create positive change. Join The Chicago Council to hear Samina’s and Mirza's story, their goals for adventure diplomacy, and how they view the future of Pakistan.
