Former New Zealand Prime Minister Clark on Multilateralism and COVID-19

While the world has been grappling with COVID-19 over the past several months, global leadership and multilateral action and cooperation has been absent amid the public health and economic threat. Countries have addressed the crisis alone, while global leaders have urged the G20 to consider the global dimension of the threat and tackle these twin issues cooperatively. Former Prime Minister of New Zealand and previous United Nations Development Program Administrator, Helen Clark, shares her experience working across government and development and explains why leadership and multilateralism are critical in addressing this pandemic.
