The purpose of this symposium is to examine the economic, political, geographic, and cultural factors involved in addressing global women’s health. The theme throughout the day will be how women are affecting change in the health field–locally and globally.

Through keynote addresses and breakout sessions, attendees of the Global Health Symposium will engage in dialogue on women’s health issues with medical, research, advocacy, corporate, and nonprofit leaders from around the world. Furthermore, the symposium will feature numerous representatives of Chicago’s health community who are contributing significantly to this field.
