CEOs, heads of office, and other select C-suite executives from member companies are invited to participate in quarterly meetings co-hosted by Council president Ivo H. Daalder and board cochair Samuel C. Scott III.
These members-only meetings provide an opportunity for business leaders to participate in timely, business-relevant global policy discussions and hear directly from the Council’s bench of experts. They also provide a platform to showcase executive leadership in a room of peers, customers, service providers, and clients.
Join us on September 26 to discuss the key findings of the 2019 Chicago Council Survey of American public opinion and US foreign policy. This annual survey examines public attitudes toward key foreign policy issues like trade, inernational alliances, and immigration - topics hotly debated leading up to the 2020 election. Dina Smeltz, senior fellow on public opinion and foreign policy, will lead a discussion about the survey results and the implications for the 2020 election and the future of American foreign policy.
