Josh Gordon-Blake

Chief Operating Officer, Pangea Money Transfer

Josh Gordon-Blake was a founding member of Pangea Money Transfer and currently serves as the company's chief operating officer. In that capacity, he is responsible for setting corporate strategy and managing business operations, including finance, law, compliance, corporate development, and customer experience. Gordon-Blake served in this role during and after Pangea's successful sale process to Enova International Inc. (ENVA) at the beginning of 2021.

In addition to Pangea, Gordon-Blake is a founding LP of Rally Cap Ventures, a community of global fintech angels investing in and alongside top-tier early-stage venture funds in Africa, Latin America, and Asia.

Gordon-Blake previously served as vice president of product at Pangea, overseeing the development of Pangea's industry-leading mobile application that allows immigrants in the US to send money to family in Africa, Latin America, and Asia. In that role, Gordon-Blake led new feature development, set a go-to-market strategy, and negotiated and implemented partnerships with financial institutions throughout the world.

Prior to Pangea, Gordon-Blake was an attorney in the emerging markets and Latin America group at Mayer Brown LLP, where he worked with clients investing in Mexico, Argentina, Guatemala, and Turkey.

Gordon-Blake graduated with a bachelor's degree from Lake Forest College and a juris doctor degree from the University of Chicago.
