Karin Larson joined the Chicago Council on Global Affairs in 2019 as a program officer. Prior to joining the Council, Larson worked in operations and administrative affairs in the private sector and for the non-profit Women’s Initiatives for Gender Justice. She also interned with the United Nations Office for Disarmament Affairs in New York and the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons in The Hague. Larson holds a BSc in social anthropology from the University of Stockholm, a MSSc in gender studies from Linköping University, and a MA in international relations from the University of Groningen.
