The Global Connections Dinner Series provides opportunities for intimate conversation about international issues in private settings. Individuals interested in foreign affairs host these dinners in their homes or other private venues. Hosts personally plan the topic and theme. Experts and/or scholars are invited to lead the evening’s discussion.
Each program is limited in attendance, with most including fewer than 20 people. The Global Connections Dinner Series offers a rare opportunity for individuals to expand their knowledge of international affairs and engage in sophisticated conversation.
The 2007 Global Connections Dinner Series took place October through December. Dinner topics included, but were not limited to, the Future of China's Political Leadership, U.S. - India Nuclear Relations, the Consequences of Global Climate Change, Global Slavery in the 21st Century, Al-Qaeda and the Road to 9/11, Eradicating Global Disease, and the Impact of Post-Enron Reforms on U.S. Competitiveness.
