Global Economy Series

Launched in 2009 at the height of the economic crisis, the Global Economy Series draws annual audiences of nearly 2,000 of Chicago’s top corporate, civic, and philanthropic leaders, and is the premier series on The Chicago Council’s program calendar. The global economic climate continues to be uncertain and volatile. Given the ongoing budget and debt crises on both sides of the Atlantic and slower growth in developing countries, the world economic recovery remains fraught with questions. How did we reach this point and what comes next? Join us for the Global Economy Series where we will explore many of the critical issues impacting the world economy.
