Economic Impact of Immigration Reform

On Monday, Chicago Council Vice President Rachel Bronson and Habitat CEO Mark Segal joined Senator Dick Durbin at IIT to argue that sensible immigration reform is the key to economic competitiveness. During a press conference, Durbin referenced findings from the Council’s independent task force report, “US Economic Competitiveness at Risk: A Midwest Call to Action on Immigration Reform,” which was released earlier this year.
