New Commentary on Egypt from M. Cherif Bassiouni 

 

EgyptIn February of 2011, The Council hosted a panel discussion in response to the events unfolding in Egypt's Tahrir Square. Panel participant M. Cherif Bassiouni, distinguished research professor of law emeritus and president emeritus of DePaul University’s International Human Rights Law Institute, released a background paper prior to the discussion and has just released the latest update (PDF) in a series of papers offering commentary and analysis of the movement and subsequent events.
