The world is facing multiple crises: climate change, the COVID-19 pandemic, and extreme economic inequality. How can we build solutions aimed at addressing these problems, and work towards an inclusive recovery that benefits everyone? Professor Mariana Mazzucato argues we need to radically rethink capitalism in order to make it more inclusive and sustainable. This involves using public and private resources to achieve common goals in bold, innovative and collaborative ways — similar to the coordinated moonshot programs that led to the 1969 moon landing.
