A Recipe for Immigrant Integration: Salad Bowl or Melting Pot?
The immigration debate is hot and one major concern for many is immigrant integration into U.S. society. While some argue for assimilation into the traditional American “melting pot,” many immigrants want to live in the U.S. but maintain their individual cultures and customs within their communities, à la “salad bowl.” This topic, along with issues of employment, economy, language, education, and documentation will turn up the heat on this fiery debate.
Please join the GOAt audience in welcoming two experts to the Hideout stage to discuss this important issue.
