The Changing Global Economy: Challenges for the Developing World
Michael Kinsley, Time columnist and Slate founder
A top priority for President-elect Barack Obama and his administration will be addressing the complex economic crisis facing the United States and countries around the world. Exploring the unfolding dimensions of the changing global economy, Michael Kinsley, Time columnist and Slate creator, details his conversations with Warren Buffett, Bill Gates, Martin Wolf, Robert Reich, Lawrence Summers, and others about the implications of the crisis for emerging markets. Is capitalism being “reinvented,” and what does it mean for the world’s poor?

He also has served as an editor at Harper's, the Los Angeles Times, the Economist, and the Washington Monthly.
