Caitlyn Abbey

Former Research Assistant

Caitlyn Abbey joined the Chicago Council on Global Affairs in 2021 and is a research assistant with the Center on Global Food and Agriculture. She supports the development of research reports on global food security issues as well as coordinating digital engagement and content for the program. Abbey was a Peace Corps Volunteer in Madagascar from 2017-2019 as an agriculture extension agent where she collaborated with community counterparts on sustainable agriculture development, food security, and water management techniques. Abbey earned an MS in environmental science and policy from Clark University and a BA in international business with a concentration in sustainability from Baldwin Wallace University.
