A global and quintessential American city, Chicago is where business, commerce, the arts, and architecture come together. The city’s diverse businesses operate globally and increasingly require talent that can engage global issues—Google, Design Lab, Boeing, Aon, Abbott, Goldman Sachs…the list goes on. Yet Chicago’s top graduates and young professionals are still running for the coasts for globally engaged jobs. The best and brightest are limiting their career options to DC and NYC think tanks and government agencies, drawing top talent away from Chicago. The Chicago Council on Global Affairs, the City of Chicago, the University of Chicago’s Committee on International Relations, and World Chicago want to keep that talent here—join us to hear from Chicago’s multinational corporations and civic institutions on globally relevant and successful careers in Chicago and the Midwest.
