LUNCH WITH BAHRAIN'S AMBASSADOR TO THE UNITED STATES: REFORM, INVESTMENT, AND STABILITY IN THE GULF
Her Excellency Houda Ezra Ebrahim Nonoo, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the United States

Bahrain’s King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa has announced constitutional reforms that are intended to create greater accountability in response to the Kingdom’s recent period of unrest. In a lunch address, Ambassador Houda Ezra Ebrahim Nonoo will outline these latest government pledges and highlight her country’s efforts toward political, social, and economic reform. As a business leader and former national Shura Council member, she will also discuss key areas for economic progress as well as Bahrain’s role in the Gulf Cooperation Council to foster growth, investment, and stability in the Gulf.
Her Excellency Houda Ezra Ebrahim Nonoo has served as ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the United States since July of 2008. She simultaneously serves as a nonresident ambassador to Argentina, Brazil, Canada, and Mexico. Her career has included positions as the financial director of both Gourmet and Jetflair International in the United Kingdom. Since 1993 she has served as the managing director of Gulf Computer Services in the Kingdom of Bahrain. In 2006, Ambassador Nonoo was appointed by King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to the Shura Council where she served on the Committee for Finance and Economic Affairs. Ambassador Nonoo received her B.A. from City London University and M.B.A. from the International University of Europe, Watford College.
